We make Nickel-titanium shape memory alloy plates and sheets according to standard ASTM F 2063 for Medical Devices and Surgical Implants. This specification covers the chemical, physical, mechanical, and metallurgical requirements for wrought nickel titanium bars, flat rolled products, and tubing containing nominally 54.5 % to 57.0 % nickel and used for producing medical devices and surgical implants. Requirements are for mill products, measuring 6 to 130 mm (0.24 to 5.12 in.) in diameter or thickness, in their annealed condition.



Nickel-titanium shape memory alloy(Nitinol shape memory alloys) is a functional titanium alloy with a shape memory effect. The object is deformed by force at a certain temperature, and after removing the external force it still maintains the shape after deformation, but it can automatically recover to the original shape before deformation at a higher temperature, this phenomenon is known as the shape memory effect.
